The double room at Pondok Muwa Guest House was cozy and comfortable, with a lovely tile/marble floor that made me feel like I was walking on clouds. The air conditioning was a blessing, keeping me cool in the Balinese heat. It felt like a little oasis in the bustling city of Ubud.
While the shared bathroom fitted with a shower was convenient, I personally would have preferred a private bathroom. But hey, that's just my preference.

The rooms at Pondok Muwa Guest House were cozy and comfortable, with a homely atmosphere that made me feel instantly relaxed. The tile/marble floors added a touch of elegance, while the air conditioning provided a much-needed respite from the Bali heat. As a laid-back trekker, these features made my stay enjoyable and refreshing.
Personally, I found the shared bathroom a bit inconvenient. But hey, I know some people actually enjoy the communal experience, so it's all about personal preference, right?

Felt privileged, no complaints at all.

Stayed in a hotel with free wifi and free parking nearby! As if I'd ever rent a car. Great for those who enjoy biking around, but I prefer taking a limo.
Oh, and they had no personal chauffeur service. How can they expect me to bike or drive myself around?

I recently stayed at Pondok Muwa Guest House for a few nights during my trip to Ubud. It was a budget-friendly place situated in the heart of town, making it incredibly convenient to explore all the nearby shops, restaurants, and attractions. The small property was tucked away on a quiet lane off Monkey Forest Rd, providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets. The owner, Nyoman, greeted me with a warm smile and served delicious pancakes for breakfast. The room was comfortable, with a nice view of a neighboring resort and field. The AC and hot water worked well, ensuring a pleasant stay. Additionally, the nearby Monkey Forest Development offered affordable 24-hour parking and a shuttle bus service, making it easy to access the hotel.
I couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We stayed at Pondok Muwa Guest House for a few days and it was a great experience. The rooms were clean and cozy, with soft beds for a good night's sleep. The location was convenient, close to bars and restaurants but still peaceful and safe. The staff was helpful and organized activities like Mt Batur and a cooking class for us. The views from our room were amazing, overlooking paddy fields and the resort. We enjoyed our breakfast at the on-site restaurant and the massage next door was wonderful. it was a great stay!

Breakfast delights with a delicious honey pancake and a cup of coffee/tea. However, one small improvement could be made to enhance the breakfast experience.

We had a fantastic stay at this budget-friendly guest house in the heart of the city. The location is very central, with an abundance of restaurants and shops within walking distance. We were able to easily explore the area, including the Monkey Forest, without much hassle. The bed was comfortable and the shower offered good water pressure and hot water. The man at reception, possibly the owner, was friendly and extremely helpful. we had a pleasant experience with the cleanliness of the hotel, its facilities, convenient location, and the helpfulness of the staff.
Can't fault anything about it.
